As a family or group of friends, we can direct you to beautiful walks in Gribskov, you may play a garden game, use the wilderness bath, try out a joint cooking session, a gin or beer tasting or a guided mountain bike tour in Gribskov. See below for more examples.

Prepare a spectacular gourmet dinner together
over the bon-fires and enjoy it at a beautiful, well-laid table in the bon-fire hut or in the large teepee. Learn about seasonal ingredients and edible herbs and be inspired for more gourmet experiences at home.

How good are you and your teammates at communicating and collaborating around solving simple and complex tasks? You will find out in teams of 4-6 in this DJEEO geo challenge simulation, which both gets you around the terrain on Haldbjerg and gives new perspectives on your team communication effectiveness. On top of that, the team is guaranteed to have a good laugh.

Get a unique climbing experience with your team, by each of you working
your way up into the crown of a centuries-old oak tree. Safety is our first priority and all climbing is done with expert instruction and climbing equipment.
You may also try the fierce, collaborative experience by climbing our Jacob’s ladder.
Guidede ture i området
Kick-off your stay with a guided tour from Kagerup train station to Haldbjerg focusing on Gribskov’s cultural history and the nature you encounter along the way. Or have our guide to explore nature at Solbjerg Engsø and along Pøleå with you. You may be lucky enough to see tracks of beavers and catch a glimpse of the sea eagle, who is a frequent visitor. Haldbjerg is located on the pilgrimage “Tisvildevejen”. Tisvildevejen also offers guided tours on along the pilgrimage routes.
Mountainbike tur i Gribskov
Experience nature with mountain bikes on the winding and hilly bike trails in Gribskov under the guidance of an expert who knows the forest inside out. Tours can be put together in all degrees of difficulty and length, and will typically end with refreshments or a culinary experience in one of the the bon-fire hut at Haldbjerg.
Sanketur og gourmet
In collaboration with Sanketure.dk, we offer “Wild dinners”. The experience starts with collecting edible herbs and flowers guidedby Nina from Sanketure. Following this 1-1½ hour at Haldbjerg and in the woods of Gribskov, you will help prepare or being served a gourmet dinner in the bon-fire hut or in the large teepee.
Besøg lokalt gin- og whisky destilleri Thornæs
Within walking distance, just 2 km from Haldbjerg, on the opposite side of Solbjerg Engsø, is Thornæs Destilleri, which is known for its tasty “Mad Owl” gin varieties. Get a tour around the distillery, followed by a tasting, or let us bring Thornæs to you and your guests here at Haldbjerg.
Udforsk Gribskov og Solbjerg Engsø
Just 100 Meters walking distanse, you will find several wonderful hiking trails in a beautiful and very hilly part of Gribskov and around Solbjerg Engsø. There are obvious routes from 2 km in length and everyone can join. An overview of the area can be seen in the Nature Agency’s map on this area of Gribskov.
